Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a polyester han-haba (half-width) obi recommended for casual coordinates during the lined (awase) and unlined (hitoe) kimono seasons.
The black side features a striped pattern.
It includes horizontal bands of bright brown and muted yellow-green, giving it a relatively light impression despite the black background.
The reverse side features a light gray/ivory-toned background (referenced from the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors) with an abstract design of trees with round, plump leaves.
As the two sides offer vastly different looks, this is a great value piece that allows you to enjoy two different styles with a single obi.
It is made with a wider width, making it especially recommended for taller customers.
Please enjoy pairing it with plain-colored (iro-muji), komon, or tsumugi kimono.
On the side with the tree design, there are pink stains on the end and several stains along the top edge. These range from small to quite noticeable. Please check the photos carefully before purchasing.
Additionally, there is a slight crease on the end of this side where it was folded in half. We mention this for those who may be concerned.
Other than this, it is in good condition and can be fully enjoyed as a recycled item.
The overall photograph is closest to the actual color, though it may appear slightly different depending on your device.
