Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi
This product is a bag-shaped obi made by Shiraayaen Oba and recommended for formal occasions.
This obi has a luxurious feel, with a beige (walnut color) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) background and auspicious motifs including pine, bamboo, and plum woven into it.
The phoenix mark (bird mark) on the back of the tip of the robe is a registered trademark that Hakuryoen Ohba has used since its founding, and was created with the phoenix as a motif.
Obata's work is characterized by bold designs and color schemes that catch the viewer's eye.
They continue to produce unique designs, and make obi for a variety of occasions, from the more casual tea ceremony kimono to tsumugi, plain-colored kimono, formal kimono, tomesode, and furisode.
The mysterious charm of this obi is that it coordinates really well with a furisode.
In addition, it can be coordinated with other kimonos such as furisode, houmongi, tsukesage, iro-muji, and komon.
There are no visible stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable as a reused item.
