Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi
This product is a bag-shaped obi made by Shiraayaen Oba and recommended for formal occasions.
This obi has an orange (persimmon color) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) background with patterns of phoenixes and drums woven into it, giving it a luxurious feel.
The phoenix mark (bird mark) on the inside of the end of the strap is a registered trademark that Shirayaen Ohba has used since its founding, and was created with the phoenix motif.
Obata's work is characterized by bold designs and color schemes that catch the viewer's eye.
They continue to produce unique designs, and make obi for a variety of occasions, from the more casual tea ceremony kimono to tsumugi, plain-colored kimono, formal kimono, tomesode, and furisode.
The mysterious charm of this obi is that it coordinates really well with a furisode.
In addition, it can be coordinated with other kimonos such as furisode, houmongi, tsukesage, iro-muji, and komon.
There are wrinkles on the front side from the fingertips to the plain middle part, wrinkles on the back of the kimono, wrinkles on the front of the kimono from the fingertips to the front belly, stains on the front belly, and wrinkles on the end of the kimono, but it is still in good condition as a reused item. Please check the photo before purchasing.
Also, part of the tailoring at the end of the dress has come undone, presumably to allow the logo to be seen.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
