Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi
This product is a bag-shaped obi made by Shiraayaen Oba and recommended for formal occasions.
The green (black oak) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) background is woven with patterns such as standing waves, tortoise shell patterns, seigaiha patterns, and floral arabesque patterns.
The phoenix mark (bird mark) visible on the inside of the tape is a registered trademark that Hakuryoen Ohba has used since its founding, and was created with the phoenix as its motif.
Obata's work is characterized by bold designs and color schemes that catch the viewer's eye.
They continue to produce unique designs, and make obi for a variety of occasions, from the more casual tea ceremony kimono to tsumugi, plain-colored kimono, formal kimono, tomesode, and furisode.
This obi can be worn with kimonos such as black tomesode, colored tomesode, furisode, as well as houmongi, tsukesage, and plain-colored kimonos.
The opening at the end of the kimono is slightly open, and there are creases from the front and back of the kimono to the inside, but it is still in good condition as a reused item. Please check before purchasing.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
