Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This han-haba obi is recommended for casual coordinates during the lined (awase) and unlined (hitoe) kimono seasons.
It features a design where colorful hues stand out against a deep navy base (kontetsu-iro, or navy iron color; *ref: Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors).
The white circles are dyed with numerous plant motifs, including maple leaves and plum blossoms.
The contrast between the red, yellow, and bright yellow-green colors against the navy background is quite beautiful, creating a pop-inspired color scheme.
Although it is a reversible obi, both sides are made of the exact same fabric.
It has a relatively smooth texture.
It may have been made from kimono fabric.
There are four seams across the entire length.
They are not very noticeable thanks to the pattern and base color, but please check the photos before purchasing.
Otherwise, the item is in good overall condition with no noticeable stains or dirt, and can be fully enjoyed as a recycled product.
