Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi
This is a brand-new, polyester han-haba (half-width) obi, recommended for casual outfits.
The deep, vivid black side (referencing the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors) features a main pattern of cute, rounded plovers.
They appear to be dancing above flowing, wind-like lines.
The reverse side is a calm, dark gray (tin color) (referencing the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors).
It is designed with a scale pattern in a simple, single-tone color scheme.
Since the shading matches the front side so beautifully, it would be lovely to style it with an elaborate knot that shows a glimpse of the reverse.
Depending on your outfit, you could even wear it with this side facing out as the main feature.
In that case, we recommend adding a pop of color with an obi-dome or obi-jime.
As it is made of 100% polyester, you can use it for summer festivals or casual dining without worrying too much about getting it dirty.
