Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi
This is a brand-new, polyester han-haba (half-width) obi, recommended for casual coordination.
One side features a sophisticated yellowish tone (Kitsurubami-iro / acorn yellow) (*referenced from the Standard Japanese Color Dictionary), decorated with a pattern of snow crystal motifs and small cherry blossoms.
Since it is coordinated in a monochromatic color scheme and appears almost solid from a distance, it is perfect for adding splashes of color with an obi-dome or obi-jime accessory.
The reverse side is a pale orange tone (Usuko-iro / light incense color) (*referenced from the Standard Japanese Color Dictionary).
It features cherry blossom patterns in a slightly darker shade, with plenty of solid space remaining, giving it a clean and uncluttered look.
Another appealing point is that the two sides have very different aesthetics, allowing you to create two distinct looks with just this one obi.
Made of 100% polyester, this piece is easy to use for summer festivals, casual dining, and other outings without worrying too much about it getting dirty.
There is a spot near the snow crystal pattern line, about 45 cm from the end with the tag, where a dark orange thread is visible.
It is not particularly noticeable, but some may find it a concern. Please check the photos carefully before purchasing.
