Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Second-hand/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a polyester han-haba (half-width) obi, recommended for casual outfits during the seasons for awase (lined) and hitoe (unlined) kimonos.
It is a monochrome piece featuring a grass pattern in shades of gray on a deep black background.
Since the base color also contains a touch of gray, it does not feel too heavy despite being a black-based obi.
The reverse side is a pale gray (usuzumi-iro / light ink color) (*refer to the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors) with a stylish checkered pattern.
As it also features a textured weave, you could potentially use this side as the main side depending on your coordination.
Please enjoy pairing it with solid-colored kimonos, komon, or tsumugi.
There is a faint brownish stain on the reverse side near the end (te-saki) and about 70 cm from the other end (tare-saki).

Other than that, there are no concerns, and you can fully enjoy it as a recycled item.
The colors in the full-body photos are the most accurate, though they may vary slightly depending on your device.
