Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a polyester han-haba (half-width) obi, recommended for casual outfits during the seasons for awase (lined) and hitoe (unlined) kimono.
One side, featuring a dark gray tone (slate gray) (*ref: Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten), has a varied lattice pattern combined with a light beige.
This color scheme, which is not as intense as black, is very stylish and easy to coordinate even with light-colored kimono.
The reverse side features a light beige base (soba-kiri color) (*ref: Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten) scattered with small cherry blossom patterns in a slightly darker brown.
Since the impression of both sides is quite different, another recommended point is that you can create two styles of coordination with a single obi.
Also, because it is wider than standard, it is especially recommended for taller customers.
Please enjoy pairing it with solid-colored (muji), komon, or tsumugi kimono.
There are faint storage wrinkles overall on the cherry blossom side, but otherwise, there are no noticeable stains or dirt, and it can be enjoyed thoroughly as a recycled item.
