Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a polyester han-haba (half-width) obi, recommended for casual outfits during the seasons for awase (lined) and hitoe (unlined) kimono.
The base is a tasteful yellowish hue (komugi-iro / wheat color) (*refer to the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors), featuring a plaid pattern in shades of brown.
With its clean design, it pairs easily with both solid-colored and patterned kimono.
The reverse side is a light beige (kareno-iro / withered field color) (*refer to the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors).
While it has a subtle woven pattern, it might be a bit difficult to use this side as the main feature on its own.
Because it is a simple, single-colored side, it would be fun to add color using an obi-dome or obi-jime accessory.
It is made with a wider width, so it is especially recommended for taller customers.
Please enjoy pairing it with your iro-muji (solid-colored), komon (fine-patterned), or tsumugi (pongee) kimono.
There are some creases on the solid-colored side from where it was previously folded in half for some distance starting from the leading end.
Other than that, the item is in overall good condition with no noticeable stains or blemishes, and can be fully enjoyed as a recycled product.
The color in the full-body photo is the most accurate, though it may vary slightly depending on your device.
