Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Used/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a polyester han-haba obi, recommended for casual outfits during the unlined (hitoe) and lined (awase) kimono seasons.
The base is a sophisticated gray (kinunezu-iro) with large and small circles. A brown-based design features stripes and partial hemp leaf patterns.
The reverse side is a light blue-gray (sorairo-nezu-iro) with a small checkered pattern.
Since this side uses a simple, solid color, it would be fun to add accents with an obidome (obi accessory) or obijime (obi cord).
The width is generous, making it particularly recommended for taller individuals.
Please enjoy pairing it with plain-colored kimonos, komon, or tsumugi.
There are signs of previous wear from folding the obi in half along the front fabric and at both ends, and there is a faint, hazy stain on the te-saki (end) side.
Additionally, the seam at the tare-saki (trailing end) is open, and some may find the overall light wrinkling noticeable.
Otherwise, this is a piece in good condition that can be fully enjoyed as a recycled item.
