Features and Condition of the Half-Width Obi | Used/Recycled Half-Width Obi
This is a polyester half-width obi recommended for casual outfits during the lined (awase) and unlined (hitoe) kimono seasons.
The light gray (Komachi-nezuiro) base features a snow crystal and dew-grass pattern (referencing the standard "Dictionary of Japanese Colors").
Small, whitish snow crystal patterns are also scattered throughout.
The reverse side is a simple, solid dark reddish-purple (Kuwanomiiro) design (referencing the standard "Dictionary of Japanese Colors") featuring a woven wickerwork (ajiro) pattern.
You can let it peek through with a decorative knot, or use this side as the main feature and accent it with an obi clip or obi accessory.
Please enjoy pairing it with solid-colored kimonos, komon, or tsumugi.
There is a stain on the gray side near the end of the sash and close to a yellow snow crystal pattern, but otherwise, there are no noticeable stains, and it can be fully enjoyed as a recycled item.
The colors in the full-body photograph are the closest to the actual item, but may vary slightly depending on your device.
