Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
A polyester han-haba (half-width) obi, recommended for casual outfits during the unlined and lined kimono seasons.
Both sides feature a deep purple shade (Komurasaki-iro, according to the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors) as the main color.
The side scattered with numerous camellia flowers also reveals cat silhouettes if you look closely.
A must-see for cat lovers due to its subtle design!
The reverse side features a diamond pattern. The simple monochromatic design looks very stylish as the pattern softly emerges depending on the viewing angle.
Please enjoy pairing it with plain-colored, komon (small-patterned), or tsumugi (pongee) kimonos.
On both sides, there are some slight fold marks near the end where it was tied. While these are not very noticeable, please check the photos before purchasing.
Otherwise, the item is in good overall condition with no concerning stains or dirt, and can certainly be enjoyed as a recycled piece.
