Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This han-haba obi is recommended for casual outfits during the unlined and lined kimono seasons.
It features a deep, subdued navy (bluish-black) base (see the "Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors") with an hemp leaf and stripe pattern in a muted red.
On this side, the hemp leaf pattern is small, and the stripe width is relatively narrow.
The reverse side uses the same navy and red color palette.
The main pattern here is also hemp leaf, but each motif is larger.
Additionally, it includes "shippo" (seven treasures) and netting patterns, giving it a dense, intricate appearance rather than a minimalist one.
It is a long, reversible obi with beautiful shades of brown.
With a standard width of 15.5 cm, this long piece is highly recommended for petite customers who are looking for an obi that allows for elaborate decorative knots.
