Features and Condition of the Half-Width Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Half-Width Obi
This is a thin, soft polyester half-width obi that epitomizes the classic yukata sash.
The main color is a distinct vibrant green (Midori-iro) (refer to the standard "Dictionary of Japanese Colors").
The design features diagonal stripes in three colors: the green, black, and accents of silver.
Because the diagonal stripes are as wide as a palm, the obi will have a strong presence even when tied in decorative styles.
It is a single-layered obi rather than a bag-stitched type with a separate front and lining,
so it may be difficult to use as a reversible piece.
Since the material is polyester, you can wear it to summer festivals or casual dining without worrying too much about it getting dirty.
The edges of the obi have a slight curl from previous use.
Otherwise, the item is in good condition overall with no noticeable stains or blemishes, making it perfectly enjoyable as a recycled piece.
