Features and Condition of the Half-Width Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Half-Width Obi
This is a thin, soft polyester half-width obi that is quintessential for yukata.
It features a beautiful gradient that transitions from a vivid, bright pink to a softer shade.
The design consists of alternating plain striped patterns and patterns featuring small cherry blossoms.
Because it uses a limited color palette, we highly recommend accessorizing it with an obi clasp (obidome) or decorative cord (obijime) to add your own personal flair.
While it could potentially be used as a reversible piece, both sides feature the same pattern (the intensity of the colors is simply reversed).
It is not constructed as a hollow bag with a separate front and lining, but rather as a single layer of fabric, and the gradient side appears to be the intended main side.
Since it is made of polyester, you can use it for summer festivals or casual dining without worrying too much about it getting dirty.
It is made wider than standard, making it especially recommended for taller individuals.
There is a faint crease from being tied, extending for a short distance from the tip.
Other than that, it is in overall good condition with no noticeable stains or blemishes, and can be fully enjoyed as a recycled item.
