Features and Condition of Hanhaba Obi | New Hanhaba Obi
This is a polyester hanhaba obi recommended for casual coordination.
This item has patterns on both sides, all-over, so it can be used reversibly.
One side is a bright, slightly greenish gray (kinunezuiro) (※Refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten) with dynamic curves drawn in dull white lines.
Although it has a bold pattern, the gentle colors make it an easy-to-use design.
The other side is a subdued yellow-green (ikou-chai-iro) (※Refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten).
It features a zigzag design that resembles wood knots.
Since it's a light color, it would be lovely to add an accent with an obi-dome or obi-jime.
Even with subtle colors, the contrast between the two sides is very beautiful.
It seems suitable for both modern kimonos and classic patterns.
Since the material is polyester, it should be easy to use without worrying too much about getting it dirty, such as for summer festivals or casual dining.
