This Nishijin-ori half-width obi is perfect for casual outfits.
This item can be used reversibly,
Both sides are covered in pandas on a slightly dull white (silver-white) background (see the definitive Japanese color dictionary).
One side is filled with pandas that are clearly defined and slightly larger in size.
The other side features a row of small, round pandas with a soft, fluffy appearance, with no visible outlines.
The pattern runs all the way through on both sides.
The material is 95% silk, 5% polyester and unclassified fiber (washi paper).
It comes in a box, so it makes a great gift.
It does not appear to have a core and has a very soft feel, so it may not be suitable for those who prefer a crisp obi look like a Hakata obi.
It's long enough that you can enjoy making a variety of decorative knots.
The overall color is closest to what you see in the photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
