This is a half-width obi called The Yukata Obi, made of thin and soft polyester material.
The top of the bright purple (violet) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) is made with threads that sparkle like the aurora, making it very gorgeous.
The other side is a solid, deep, rich rose (strawberry color) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary).
The contrast is very beautiful and the colors stand out beautifully on their own.
If you feel like it's a little lacking, you can add some decorative cords or obi clasps.
It is not a bag-like obi with an outer and inner lining, but a single piece of obi.
The material is polyester, so you can wear it to summer festivals or casual meals without worrying too much about getting it dirty.
