Fukuro Obi Features and Condition
This is a brocade fukuro obi featuring auspicious motifs on a pink gradient background.
The base color is a gradient from pink to off-white.
This gorgeous piece features a variety of auspicious motifs, including interlocking seven treasures, interlocking diamonds, pine, bamboo, and plum blossoms, cranes, wisteria, and flowers such as Japanese bellflower, all framed by elegant curved lines in gold.
Pair it with tomesode, houmongi, tsukesage, iromuji, or other formal kimonos
for weddings, entrance and graduation ceremonies, parties, and other occasions.
There are wear creases and a small brown stain on the plain section of the outer fabric, as well as several faint stains on the lining from the fingertips to the front abdomen area.
Additionally, the stitching at the end of the hanging sash is partially frayed.
No other noticeable stains or dirt were found, making this an item in excellent condition for a pre-owned product.
