This product is a bag-shaped obi made by Shiraayaen Oba and recommended for formal occasions.
Patterns of phoenixes and other creatures are woven into an orange (carrot color) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Encyclopedia) background.
The phoenix mark (bird mark) that can be seen slightly on the inside of the drop is a registered trademark that Hakuryoen Ohba has used since its founding, and was created with the phoenix motif.
Obata's work is characterized by bold designs and color schemes that catch the viewer's eye.
They continue to produce unique designs, and make obi for a variety of occasions, from the more casual tea ceremony kimono to tsumugi, plain-colored kimono, formal kimono, tomesode, and furisode.
This obi can be worn with kimonos such as black tomesode, colored tomesode, furisode, as well as houmongi, tsukesage, and plain-colored kimonos.
There are some creases from wear on the back from the fingertips to the center, but there are no stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable as a reused item.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
