Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi
This product is a bag-shaped obi recommended for formal occasions.
The gold background features a chrysanthemum pattern, and when you change the angle you look at it, the background pattern softly emerges with a saaya pattern.
As you can tell from the character "happiness" at the end of the curtain, this is a product from the prestigious Nishijin company, Kano Happiness.
Kano Yuki's obi, which combines tradition and modernity in style, has attracted attention from overseas, and in 1987 (Showa 62), she was the first Japanese clothing to be featured in Vogue Paris.
We are also one of the few manufacturers with a full lineup of pure Nishijin fabrics, producing obi, kimonos, and accessories, with almost all of our production carried out in Nishijin.
Among them, obi is the starting point of Kano Yuki. Highly skilled craftsmen, high-quality thread, and machines suitable for weaving all meet all the requirements to produce wonderful works.
This obi can be worn with kimonos such as black tomesode, colored tomesode, furisode, as well as houmongi, tsukesage, and plain-colored kimonos.
There are faint traces of the torso being folded in half.
There are no other stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable as a reused item.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
