Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi
This product is a Fukuro-Obi made by the prestigious Nishijin company, Shirayaen Obata, and can be used for formal occasions.
This fukuro obi has a refined atmosphere, with pine, bamboo, plum, cherry blossom, and bamboo flowers woven on a brown (tobi-iro) background (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary).
The obi is characterized by its vivid color scheme, so much so that it is called Ooba color. Although it has such a wide variety of colors, it can actually be tied in a variety of ways regardless of the base color of the kimono.
Please wear this with kimonos such as Tomesode, Homongi, Tsukesage, and Iromuji.
There are creases from wear on the front from the fingertips to the middle, and creases all over the back, but there are no stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable as a reused item.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
