Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi
This product is a Fukuro-Obi made by the prestigious Nishijin company, Shirayaen Obata, and can be used for formal occasions.
This obi has a refined feel, with a vermilion base (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) and patterns of hollyhocks, pine trees, and Genji cartwheels woven into it.
The obi is characterized by its vivid color scheme, so much so that it is called Ooba color. Although it has such a wide variety of colors, it can actually be tied in a variety of ways regardless of the base color of the kimono.
Please wear this with kimonos such as Tomesode, Homongi, Tsukesage, and Iromuji.
There are some creases on the plain front and a stain on the front of the back, but they are hidden and can still be worn as a reused item.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
