Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi
This is a sturdy, classic-patterned obi with a black background and a pattern of drums and folding screens woven mainly in gold and vermilion.
Please wear this with formal kimono such as Homongi, Tsukesage, or Iromuji.
Seasonal flowers are also woven into the kimono, so it can be worn any time during the season for lined kimonos.
Because it has many patterns, the obi feels a little heavy.
It has an atmosphere that would go well with a furisode, but the obi is not particularly long at 419 cm, so it seems difficult to tie a complex decorative knot.
There are no stains or noticeable dirt, so it is perfectly wearable and can be reused.
