Nagoya Obi Features and Conditions | Second-hand and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a Nagoya obi (Kyoto fukuro obi) recommended for semi-formal occasions.
The fabric is woven with cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, and a unique checkered pattern on a yellow (Umeya Shibuiro) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) background.
The pattern runs all the way around, and it's an obi that is just the right amount of stiff but not heavy, making it easy to use.
You can enjoy a wide range of combinations with this kimono, such as coordinating it with a dark-colored kimono to create a dress-like look, or pairing it with a light-colored kimono to create an outfit that enjoys the contrast between the light and dark shades.
There are some creases on the fingertips of the front and back of the garment from wear, but there are no stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable and can be reused.
The colour is closest to the overall photo, but may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
