This is a roll of authentic Yuki Tsumugi silk fabric for a men's kimono.
The base is navy blue (smoked color) (see the definitive Japanese color dictionary).
Yuki Tsumugi, woven in Ibaraki Prefecture, is a type of kimono characterized by its softness and airy texture, which gives it the comfortable feel of genuine cotton. It is also comfortable to wear, so there are many fans, and many people probably think, "I would like to buy Yuki Tsumugi someday."
This is made using 120 tortoiseshell thread.
Although it is for men, it is a rare and valuable piece of fabric with red selvedge.
The material is of course 100% silk.
It is easy to match with other items, and can be worn with a light color such as white or beige for a clean look, or with a darker color such as brown or black for a chic look.
There are no noticeable stains or dirt, so the product is fully usable.
