Characteristics and condition of Nagoya obi | Used and recycled Nagoya obi

This product is a Nagoya obi recommended for casual occasions.

The entire piece is dyed in an abstract floral pattern in orange (red lead) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) on a white background.

The drum pattern and the pattern on the front belly are dyed in the vivid colors unique to Kyoto Bingata.

Kyo Bingata is a stencil dyeing method that incorporates the dyeing techniques of Kyo Yuzen. It is said that Kyo Bingata began when the first generation Kuriyama Kichisaburo fused Okinawa's traditional stencil dyeing "Bingata" with "Kyoto Yuzen", a style representative of Kyoto.

Enjoy a casual look by pairing it with solid colors, small patterns, or tsumugi.

The bottom of the hanging end and the first part that wraps around the wrist and torso is a plain orange color.

It is moderately stiff, Nagoya-style, and the colored accent pattern is made longer, so it is easy for even beginners to try.

There are no visible stains or dirt, so the item is perfectly wearable and can be reused.

The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.

Please note that there is no quality label, so we cannot tell you the content percentage, etc.
