Nagoya Obi Features and Conditions | Second-hand and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a stencil-dyed Nagoya obi, recommended for casual occasions.
Vegetables, hairpins, votive plaques, and balls are dyed using stencil dyeing on a gray (silk gray) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Encyclopedia).
This obi has a lovely gentle feel and calm colors made from crepe fabric.
Enjoy wearing this kimono with its simple patterns, such as plain-colored kimonos, small patterns, and tsumugi kimonos.
This obi is just the right amount of firm, yet not too heavy, making it easy to use.
It is an open-knit obi. It is also long for a Nagoya obi, and has a pattern that runs all the way through, so it is also recommended for unusual knots.
There are a few yellow stains near the end of the lining, but there are no stains or dirt on the outer fabric, so the item is perfectly wearable and can be reused.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
