This fabric roll is for a Yuki Tsumugi ensemble.
Yuki Tsumugi, woven in Ibaraki Prefecture, is characterized by its soft texture and the comfortable feel of true raw silk, which retains a lot of air. Many people are fans of its comfort, and it's likely that many aspire to own a Yuki Tsumugi someday.
This particular fabric roll is called "hige tsumugi," characterized by a "beard-like fuzziness" with short threads protruding from the fabric.
The deep navy plain color is very beautiful.
The material is, of course, 100% silk.
It's easy to coordinate, allowing for a neat look with light colors like white or beige, or a chic look with dark-colored obi such as brown or black.
There are no noticeable stains or dirt, making it a product that can be used sufficiently.
