Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
The dull pale yellowish-green (Japanese black, called "ro-iro" - referring to the Japanese color dictionary) ground is sprinkled with small silver dots, creating a speckled dye-like effect.
The accented design features autumn leaves on both the otaiko (drum knot) and the front belly section.
Expressed in various shades of green, it creates a soft and gentle impression.
It is a Nagoya-style tailoring, with the waist area partially open like a pocket.
It also has a lining specifically for this design.
Please enjoy pairing it with iromuji (solid-colored kimono), komon (small-patterned kimono), or tsumugi (pongee silk kimono).
There are some signs of wear on the plain, unpatterned part of the front fabric and on the upper part of the otaiko pattern.
Additionally, the lining and the tip of the tare (hanging part) are slightly soiled overall.
Although these areas are not very noticeable, please check the photos before purchasing.
Aside from these points, the item is in good overall condition, with no noticeable stains or dirt, making it perfectly usable as a recycled item.
