Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for semi-formal coordinates. It features a design of a small drum (kozutsumi) pattern on a dark brown (tetsu-kuroiro, iron black, according to the "Traditional Japanese Colors Dictionary") background with a slight reddish tint. The overall brown tones create a very elegant look. The large kozutsumi pattern covers the entire width of the obi, making it an easy choice even for petite customers. The pattern is rokutsū (pattern on 60% of the obi), and it is a Nagoya-style finish. Please coordinate and wear it with iromuji (solid-colored kimono), komon (small-patterned kimono), tsumugi (pongee silk kimono), or light tsukesage (kimono with small patterns below the waistline). There are fold marks and scuffs from the tip to the plain part of the obi. Additionally, there are faint scuffs on the lining and the taiko (drum) pattern area. Please check the photos before purchasing. Otherwise, the item is in good overall condition, with no noticeable stains or dirt, making it perfectly wearable as a recycled item. The overall photo best represents the color, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
