This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
An unusual checkered pattern with squares woven in a lighter color on a brown (keshizumiiro) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) background.
The design is made using only shades of the same color, making it clean and simple yet very stylish.
The pattern runs all the way through and the garment is open so you can adjust the width to suit your height.
Also, since it is made relatively long, you can enjoy tying it in different ways.
Please enjoy coordinating it with kimonos such as plain-colored and small-patterned kimonos.
Although it has knots and a rough feel, the fabric is thin, light, and does not seem to wrinkle easily.
