Characteristics and condition of Nagoya obi | Used and recycled Nagoya obi

This product is a Nagoya obi recommended for semi-formal occasions.

The grey (burnt charcoal grey) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) base is woven with a comb pattern, and the belly and drum-shaped areas are woven with a crab pattern.

Kushiori is a technique in which the weft threads are gathered together with a regular reed and then a comb is used to weave them.

This is an advanced technique in which a comb is used to weave the weft threads in a ripple pattern rather than in a straight line.

Please wear it with a light tsukesage, plain-colored kimono, small patterned kimono, or tsumugi.

It is made in Nagoya and is long. It has a firm texture and is unlikely to wrinkle.

There are no stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable and can be reused.

The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.

Please note that there is no quality label, so we cannot tell you the content percentage, etc.
