This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
The fabric is a green (grass-colored) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) background with an unusual cloisonne pattern woven into it.
The part woven with black thread is made using the comb weaving technique.
Comb weaving is a technique in which the weft threads are gathered together with a regular reed and then combed. This is an advanced technique in which the weft threads are woven in a ripple pattern rather than laid out in a straight line.
It is light and thin, has a six-pass pattern, and is made in the Nagoya style, so I think it is one of the obi that is easy to handle even for beginners.
Coordinate it with solid colors, small patterns, and tsumugi to enjoy everyday fashion.
There are no visible stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable and can be reused.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
