Nagoya Obi Features and Conditions | Second-hand and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a Nagoya obi (Kyoto fukuro obi) recommended for semi-formal occasions.
The fabric is cream (off-white) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) with horizontal stripes of grass, autumn leaves, cherry blossoms, and plum blossoms.
The pattern runs through six layers, and the obi is just the right amount of stiffness but not heavy, making it easy to use.
You can enjoy a wide range of combinations with this kimono, such as coordinating it with a dark-colored kimono to create a dress-like look, or pairing it with a light-colored kimono to create an outfit that enjoys the contrast between the light and dark shades.
There are some creases from wear on the front belly and bottom of the garment on both the front and back, but there are no stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable and can be reused.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
