Fukuro Obi Features and Condition | Used/Recycled Fukuro Obi
This fukuro obi is recommended for casual occasions.
It has a calming atmosphere, woven with a muted green base (Satsuma-nezumiiro, or Satsuma gray, *referencing Teihon: Washi no Iro Jiten for color names*), muted reddish-brown and blue horizontal stripes, and classical patterns.
While difficult to discern in the photos, the classical patterns shimmer elegantly depending on the light and angle.
Please wear it with kimono such as iromuji or komon.
Both the front and back surfaces have wearing creases from the tesaki to the maebara, and there is some fabric slack on the taiko area of the front surface, but it can still be fully enjoyed as a recycled item.
The overall photograph is the closest representation of the color, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
