This product is a bag-shaped obi made by Tokusen and recommended for semi-formal attire.
Tokusen has a history of over 300 years in the Kyoto area.
The fabric is woven with 24-karat gold and platinum threads, which do not tarnish over time, and we create pieces that are timeless and have an international fashion sense.
The background is black (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) with vertical stripes of different widths of silver, purple, and deep green woven into it.
The metallic colours are very vibrant and give a modern impression.
This obi can be worn with kimonos such as Homongi, Tsukesage, Iromuji, and Komon.
It has a moderate tension and is easy to handle.
I think she is also good at coordinating kimonos with geometric patterns and modern designs.
There are no stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable as a reused item.
