Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi
This product is a fukuro obi (sash) made by the prestigious Nishijin company Monya Iseki Goryoori, suitable for semi-formal occasions.
This obi has a refined feel, with a floral arabesque pattern woven into a gold background.
Please wear it with kimonos such as tsukesage, plain-colored, and tsumugi.
Of the six families appointed as "Goryo Orimono-shi" (official textile officials) in 1571 during the Muromachi period, Mon'ya Iseki of Nishijin is the last remaining one.
This masterpiece, woven by a long-established company with a long history and proven track record, is surprisingly supple and light in finish.
There are two places where the openings at the end of the kimono are slightly open, but there are no stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable and can be reused.
The colour is closest to the overall photo, but may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
