This is an unusual tortoiseshell obi with many patterns woven into it in a calm tone.
The base is a yellowish beige with a tortoiseshell pattern in various colors such as green, brown, purple, gray, and yellow, and many auspicious designs are woven into each one.
There are many colors and patterns, but the tones are subdued, giving the look a rather clean impression.
This obi has a beautiful luster from the silk, so it looks great with a light tsukesage or plain-colored kimono, of course, but it would also look great with an omeshi or stylish komon kimono.
The obi is soft, light, and feels easy to tie.
There are traces of the obi being folded in half around the waist, but this is proof that it has been worn a lot. It is an easy-to-use obi.
There are no stains or noticeable dirt, so it is perfectly wearable and can be reused.
