Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi
This hand-woven Fukuro-Obi is made using the scoop weave technique. The warp threads are woven side-to-side to create a stylish Fukuro-Obi with a glossy silk finish.
Although gold and silver threads are used, tsumugi thread is mainly used, and it goes very well with fashionable kimonos such as komon and tsumugi.
Also, since it has a Michinaga pattern, it can be matched with tsukesage and plain-colored kimonos.
There are no stains or dirt on the item, so it can be worn and reused.
