Nagoya Obi Features and Conditions | Second-hand and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is an authentic Nagoya obi made by an artist.
The background color is close to khaki, and gold and silver threads are used to weave patterns of plum branches, chrysanthemums, and rabbits on rough waves.
A distinctive feature of tapestry weaving is that the threads never show on the back side, and the lining has a pattern that is the reverse of the front.
This Nagoya obi can be worn in a wide range of formal settings, such as with plain-colored kimonos, tsukesage kimonos, and homongi kimonos.
It's a very flexible obi that looks easy to tie. It's made with a pine needle style, so normally you can adjust the width of the obi to fit your height, but this obi has a clear fold line, so we recommend wearing it folded in half.
There is a tie line in the front abdomen area, but there are no stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable and can be reused.
