This reversible half-width obi is recommended for casual coordination with komon, tsumugi, and plain-colored kimonos.
One side is a light gray (fish belly white) (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) background with a cute, fluffy long-tailed tit pattern, which is very popular these days.
With its round body and cute eyes, it also looks cute from behind.
The other side is a dark gray (Aisumi brown) (see the definitive Japanese color encyclopedia) background.
Seal pattern.
This one is also round and has a soothing atmosphere.

The animal faces on the edges of this half-width obi are filled with cotton.
An obi with an animal pattern like this is very rare.
For the seal mask, we recommend tying it in a way that allows the face part to hang straight down, such as using a knot called "Miyako musubi," "ribbon gaeshi," or "patapata musubi."
For the long-tailed tit mask, we recommend tying it in a way called the "iris tying knot" or "hanaakari tying knot" (we have also included photos of examples of how to tie the knot), which allows the face to peek out from the side.
The obi fabric is made of 100% silk.
