This is a wooden inlaid obidome.
It may seem very simple, but it is a product that requires highly skilled techniques and involves carving the surface of the wood, inlaying pieces of wood of different colors, and creating pictures and patterns while taking advantage of the natural beauty of the wood.
Two rabbits are sitting next to each other on an oval tree that is a slightly reddish black (earthen black color (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary)).
Combined with the gentle atmosphere of wood, this is a heart-warming obidome.
Using an obidome will give you a stylish look.
This is a casual obi fastener, and the width of the metal fitting is a little wide at 1.3 cm, so it will be more stable if you use a 4-quarter cord rather than a 3-quarter cord.
The yobun-himo is the same as the sanbun-himo, and is a special obi-jime for attaching an obi-dome.
It is thinner and finer than a normal obijime, and is also shorter in length.
Also, since there are no tassels on the ends, they do not get in the way when threading the obi-jime.
The combination of quarter-length obi cord and obidome is very convenient as it can be matched not only with kimono but also with yukata.
